Building Better Services. Residential Overnight Break Service Consultation

New Search

Purpose Lancashire County Council is committed to the development of modernised, cost effective residential overnight short break services for children with disabilities. Following the Short Break Services consultation the council approved the modernisation and restructure of the Residential Overnight Break Service. The existing provision is to be replaced with purpose built units in a phased way to ensure existing services for children and their families is maintained and enhanced across Lancashire.

Potential sites for the first of the new units have been proposed and existing units identified to merge onto the new site.

As someone who is involved in using or supporting these services, we would very much like to hear your views on these proposals.

Your opinions are very valuable to us as we need to make sure we implement the restructure of the Residential Overnight Short Break Service in a way that best meets the needs of our children and families.
