Budget - have your say
Purpose | Our Cabinet have been presented with a series of options that could help deliver £176 million in savings by April 2018. Senior council officers have presented a report detailing how services could be delivered in future and how this could enable savings to be made. By April 2018, we have to save a total of £315 million from our budget. Just under £140 million of savings have already been approved. The Cabinet is committed to doing all it can to protect vulnerable people and to ensure that spending is allocated fairly, according to need. We will also continue to work to promote economic growth across the county. Cabinet members are now inviting your views on the options, and your priorities for spending, as they consider what to include in their budget proposals, which will be published early next year. |
