Purpose Over the coming months there will be a number of opportunities for interested parties to potentially take over the management of council buildings or provision of services and we would welcome expressions of interest.

Please note that this will be a 'whole transfer' and you will be taking on the full costs of running the building and/or providing any services however, no financial support will be available from us once the transfer is complete.

If you are interested in taking over any of our assets, download the Expression of Interest form below and return to assetandservicetransfer@lancashire.gov.uk by the response deadline.

Once we have received your Expression of Interest, we will provide you with an information pack about the asset you are interested in detailing, information on running costs, covenants or other legal restrictions, and relevant service data.

As we have limited resources, we are unable to offer help and support in the pre-transfer process, however, there are many local and national sources of information available to staff and community groups, which will help you understand the process for community ownership of assets or community service provision such as:
