Taking over the running of a council asset - expression of interest
| Purpose | Lancashire County Council is currently consulting on how and from which buildings it will provide services from in future. We would therefore welcome 'Expressions of Interest' particularly from staff or community groups wishing to take on buildings that are within the scope of this consultation and may be eligible for transfer. If you are interested in taking over any of these assets, in the first instance we would request that you download and complete the Expression of Interest form below. This asks for some general information and enables us to understand the level of interest in an asset. Completed Expression of Interest forms need to be submitted to assetandservicetransfer@lancashire.gov.uk Once we have received your completed expression of interest form, we will provide you with an information pack about the asset in which you are interested. The purpose of the information pack is to ensure that you have sufficient information upon which to make an informed decision on the viability of your proposal. It will also enable you to complete the detailed application form which will be issued alongside the information pack. Deadlines and Proposed Timetable - The deadline for the receipt of completed expression of interest forms is Sunday 19th June - Information packs and detailed application forms will be issued to interested parties by the end of June - Completed detailed application forms to be submitted by Sunday 14th August Please note these are indicative dates and may be subject to change. If you have previously submitted an Expression of Interest, we will be in touch with you as soon as possible. It is important to note that this will be a 'whole transfer' and you will be taking on the full costs of running the building and/or providing any services and as a result, no financial support or otherwise will be available from us once the transfer is complete. |
