ESOL provision (Syrian Resettlement Programme) - provider consultation
| Purpose | It has been agreed that Lancashire County Council will commission two years of English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) provision for each adult (aged 19 or over) arriving through the refugee resettlement programme. We want to draft a specification that takes into account the needs of the resettled refugees and also takes into account the skills, capacity and characteristics of potential providers. Therefore, we want your views in principle about how various aspects of the provision could work. Your views will be considered as we finalise our approach to re-commissioning ESOL/language training for the refugee resettlement programmes in Lancashire. |
