Consultation on the mobile library service

New Search

Purpose We are asking you to comment on the criteria we propose to adopt to make the mobile library service more consistent across Lancashire.

Currently six mobile vehicles cover the whole of Lancashire, making a total of nearly 800 stops. We want to agree standards, for example for frequency and length of mobile library stops and how far they are from public library buildings. We propose merging some stops when they serve the same community and removing some that have not been used in the last six months.

Complete an online questionnaire to give us your views. Printed questionnaires are available from the mobile library service and public libraries, or ring 01772 534008 or email library@lancashire.gov.uk to obtain a copy.

Please reply online or return your printed questionnaire to your mobile library service driver or a public library by 28 April 2019.
If you need help to complete the questionnaire then please ask a member of staff.
