Recommissioning care services in supported housing settings
Purpose | Lancashire County Council is planning to start a major exercise to recommission care services in supported housing settings (formerly supported living) for adults with disabilities. Before this, we want to engage with providers and key stakeholders about our proposals to establish an Approved Provider List (APL) and how this will operate. The APL will be a longer-term, flexible set of arrangements (up to 10 years), which will assist the county council to address both existing and new care and support requirements. The APL will also assist in modernising support services in shared supported housing by creating an ongoing collaborative approach between the county council and APL providers to meet the needs of adults with disabilities. You can complete the questionnaire from the link above and there are additional supporting documents at the bottom of this web page. Please let us have your feedback by 13 September 2019. |
