Increase number of special school places at Lostock Hall Moor Hey School
Purpose | This is the statutory proposal to make a prescribed alteration to a school in accordance with The School Organisation (Prescribed Alterations to Maintained Schools) (England) Regulations 2013. We are seeking your views about a proposal to expand Lostock Hall Moor Hey School - and whether you think this is a good idea. We are proposing to expand the number of special school places by 20 in accommodation on the school site. We want to assure you that we will give careful consideration to all your comments and opinions. We have used the feedback that was given during the informal consultation, carried out between 22 March and 3 May, to develop our plans at Lostock Hall Moor Hey School. This formal consultation is a legal requirement that we need to do in order to make a change like this to the school. This school is also proposing to change its name from Lostock Moor Hey School to Applebee Wood Community Specialist School. The governing body is in the process of amending the Instrument of Government, in line with regulation 30 of the School Governance (Constitution) (England) Regulations 2012 |
