Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan (LCWIP) public engagement
Purpose | We have ambitious plans to increase active travel and make Lancashire a place where cycling and walking is easily accessible, safe to use, attractive and well maintained. Working in partnership with Blackpool Council, we are developing LCWIPs, providing long term plans for our future cycling and walking networks for each area of the county. - Help shape cycling and walking in your area We previously invited all Lancashire residents to take part in a survey to provide feedback on their local cycling and walking provision and any improvements they would like to see. We have used this feedback to develop a draft active travel network plan for the county. In this second stage of public engagement we want you to comment on the plan and suggest anything that could be done better - Why your views matter This is the next step of the process to implement Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plans in Lancashire, which have been used in other areas of the country to deliver fit for purpose cycling and walking schemes. Your feedback will be used to develop the final plans which would be taken to the county council's Cabinet for approval later in the year. |
