Joint Lancashire Minerals and Waste Local Plan Review Consultation Notice
| Purpose | Lancashire County Council, Blackpool Council, and Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council are currently undertaking a review of the Joint Lancashire Minerals and Waste Local Plan (the Local Plan forms part of the Development Plan for the area, and informs decision making on planning applications). The purpose of this consultation is to collect views on the soundness of the Plan, to allow the Councils to decide whether they should submit the draft Plan to the Planning Inspectorate for examination. These views will also be presented to the Planning Inspectorate to inform the examination into the soundness of the draft Plan. This draft revised plan covers the administrative areas of Lancashire County Council, Blackpool Council, and Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council. The draft revised plan sets out strategic and development control planning policies for minerals and waste developments within these administrative areas. |
